In addition to the 8000-seat Marmara Open Air Theatre, there are two 2000 square metres film and television platforms in the campus area. Marmara Education Village hosts around 500 activities every year with the fields it provides for education, research, and social and cultural activities and offers a vibrant university life to its students at world standards. A large number of classrooms, laboratories, workshops, sports facilities serving different sports branches, 8000-people open-air theatre, film and television plateaus, conference halls, hotel and it is a huge educational complex in which the library is located.
The Library and Information Center, which provides its users with its constantly updated print and digital collection with its strong technological infrastructure, has 5 million accessible resources. Classified by the LCC (Library of Congress Classification) System, and a member of ANKOS and TÜBİTAK – EKUAL, the centre provides 24/7 uninterrupted service with 150,000 printed books and 12,000 printed journals. In the library, there are free study rooms where students can work comfortably, reader computers, and computers that are open to using indefinitely.
Maltepe University, which draws attention to its campus life and social facilities, has a very rich and colourful environment in terms of Student Clubs. With clubs that appeal to different interests from aviation to traditional Turkish arts, chess, theatre, architecture, and nature, students participate actively in university life.
There is a total of 13 sports facilities for different sports branches in Marmara Education Village. It offers many opportunities in the university sports field with football fields in UEFA standards, open-closed basketball, open-closed volleyball courts, open-closed tennis courts, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, walking tracks, dance, fitness, and sports halls.
The Spring Festival, which takes place with the intense participation of students, continues for five days with various activities from concerts to dance, interviews and theatre. 9000 m2 studio space and hundreds of acres of outdoor serving plateau Maltepe University, plateau, the plateau is among the largest centers in Turkey and Europe.
